After-sales support

Know what happens after installation.

Your equipment should arrive with a clear warranty path, a proper handover record and a maintenance plan—not only an invoice. We make those ownership details visible before you approve the work.

📄

Written warranty basis

The quotation and handover should identify the exact model, serial number, manufacturer warranty, seller or distributor route, installation coverage and exclusions. Verbal warranty claims are not enough.

📈

Performance records

Where the equipment supports it, monitoring and settings records help distinguish a product fault from changing loads, grid conditions, battery limits or installation issues.

🛠️

Planned maintenance

The maintenance interval depends on system size, cycling, dust, heat, coastal exposure, roof access and manufacturer instructions. The final service plan should state what is included and what is chargeable.

The ownership journey

Support starts with a system we can identify and diagnose.

Standard equipment families, documented commissioning and retrievable settings reduce guesswork when you need help.

01

Commissioning & handover

Receive the approved design, equipment model and serial schedule, test results, settings backup, protection schedule, monitoring access and safe shutdown/start-up instructions.

02

Early performance review

Review alarms, grid and generator behaviour, battery state of charge, solar production and any load changes after the system has operated in normal conditions.

03

Preventive maintenance

Use a site-specific schedule for inspection, cleaning when soiling justifies it, ventilation, cable and protection checks, firmware planning and performance review.

04

Fault support & warranty

Start with the system record and remote diagnostics where available. We identify whether the issue is configuration, installation, maintenance or equipment before opening a manufacturer claim.

Recommended baseline

A practical solar and backup maintenance schedule

This schedule is a starting point, not a substitute for the exact manufacturer manual or a site-specific operations and maintenance plan.

  1. After installation

Confirm labels, breakers, changeover sequence, monitoring, battery limits and the appliances assigned to backup.

  2. First operating month

Review real load peaks, generator/grid charging, battery depth of discharge, alarms and actual solar harvest.

  3. Every 6 months

Recommended for commercial, high-cycling, dusty, coastal or generator-heavy sites; inspect ventilation, terminals, protection, mounting and performance trends.

  4. Every 12 months

Residential preventive-service baseline, adjusted for manufacturer instructions, environment, usage and monitoring evidence.

  5. After a major fault or change

Recommission after lightning events, protection trips, battery additions, inverter replacement, roof work or material load changes.

Before you pay

Ask for the warranty as a service process—not a number.

Equipment warranty

Confirm the exact model is covered in Nigeria, the claim route, required registration, replacement or repair method, transport responsibility and exclusions.

Installation coverage

The final quotation should state the period and scope for workmanship, cabling, protection, mounting and commissioning corrections.

Battery conditions

Check retained capacity, cycle or throughput limits, operating temperature, charge/discharge current, approved inverter pairings and expansion rules.

Service costs

Know what is included, what requires a call-out or diagnostic fee, and whether consumables, cleaning, transport or access equipment are separate.

Reference standard

Built around documented ownership.

Manufacturer terms always depend on the exact model and authorised sales channel. Preventive maintenance must also reflect the installation site and equipment manuals.
