Battery energy is measured in kilowatt-hours; inverter demand is measured in kilowatts. A 15 kWh battery may promise long runtime but still shut down if its BMS cannot supply the instantaneous current demanded by a large inverter, pump or bank of air conditioners.
For a 48 V system, 10 kW of battery output is already above 200 A before design margin. That current changes the number of battery modules, conductor size, busbar, fuse and isolator requirements.
